Raccoon

On my way to downtown around noon, there was a raccoon on the pine tree. It did not shy away and even posed for me.

Bracketless wiper blades

For PNW temperate rain forest, we have natural sprinkler system to provide the water. As a bonus, the windshield wiper blades tend to wear out faster than other places. I've used Bosch wiper blades from Firestone store and they need to be replaced every year at minimum. Last week, I found a new type of wiper blades which do not have bracket at Sears Auto. Will try them out when it's pouring.

Do you have 75 cents?

The teenager asked, though she does not look like a typical panhandler. I happened to have 75¢ but still went "Sorry, I don't have it".
Afterwards, I look up the Pierce Transit's youth fare, it's 75¢!
What if she really needs to get on the bus and it's dark and cold in a not so good area. I feel bad about not helping her, hope she arrived home safely.....................

GT-R

Looks like Nissan has done it again!
Those people at Top Gear are very hard to please. A Japanese car beats German/Italian mix so hard work does pay off...........

Where to live?

Read about global warming, green architecture, new urbanism, and renewable energy. Enjoy driving but hate gridlock. Like to be close to the nature and don't want to consume too much and want to be close to the office. How do I strike a balance between all these goals?
If I live in the downtown area during weekday and live in the country side on weekends would be ideal. Wait, isn't that over consumption? Maybe a mobile home?
Ten years from now, we will rebuild the temperate rain forest in downtown, so we can live in the tree house and our energy comes from solar ,hydraulic, and wind power. Drive an electric performance car. On weekends, we leave the civilization and go fishing and hunting to get in touch with mother nature.
Or office become totally mobile so I can choose to work in the forest on Monday and downtown on Friday depends on the mood.

Court rules Toyota employee worked to death

Court rules Toyota employee worked to death

So this is really happening in Japan! Is it the reason why Japanese car are well-made, low-maintenance and highly fuel efficient? I guess hard work does pay off?!
